My reservation was for 10pm, I arrived at 9h45 and they refuse to serve me. Said kitchen was already closed, everything was cleaned and the day was super busy so they didn't have any food. It was a business dinner, I tried at least that they served us something quick to eat in the bar, but there was no flexibility at all. Very unpleasant situation, and I didn't have dinner at all in that day because of it.

My experience at the Holiday Inn restaurant We came for dinner as a couple and were seated right next to the entrance, in a noisy area, even though there were available tables in a quieter section. It felt more like a canteen than a proper hotel restaurant. The menu was not translated into French, which made ordering more complicated. My wife asked for a kir, which was unavailable. She then tried a Pineau des Charentes, also unavailable. She finally ordered a martini… which was surprisingly served in a cognac glass, something I had never seen before and not very professional. As for me, I asked for a gin listed on the menu, but it was also unavailable. I chose a Nordés gin, charged €15. It was served in a large glass already filled with tonic, without any information on the brand or the right service method. Normally, gin should be served with the tonic on the side, as everywhere else. A clear lack of professionalism. When ordering both the aperitif and the main course, no one suggested wine or even a soft drink to accompany our meal. Regarding the food: my wife ordered a mushroom risotto with truffle oil, but what she received was simply rice with a few mushrooms, without any truffle oil — nothing like what was advertised as risotto. I had ordered a rare beef steak (€36). At first, I was brought a hamburger. After pointing this out, I finally received my steak… but it was blue, cold, unseasoned, served with vegetables that were simply boiled and very hard, and a so-called “truffle sauce” which turned out to be just pepper sauce with some tartufata mixed in — also cold. We were not properly cleared between dishes, the staff (though numerous) lacked attentiveness, and nobody asked us if we wanted dessert. We simply decided to pay and leave. Conclusion The menu looks promising, but the service and food quality do not match the high prices. While the food we had was good, as was the...

While the food we had was good, as was the service, the menu was very limited, particularly for a vegetarian. There were only two dishes available, and even a simple thing like an omelette couldn't be made on request. The online menu showed many more options than were actually available on the restaurant menu.

I appreciated the food, but I believe the team working that night could have benefited from more resources. At times, it required extra effort to get attention and communicate our food choices or other needs to the table.

I would not recommend this restaurant as the...

I would not recommend this restaurant as the bar was quiet but the two bar tenders were slow, they did not serve us even though we were waiting for nearly 20 minutes with our drinks. They served other customers in that time and I attempted to get the servers attention only to be rudely told to "wait". In the end we decided to leave the restaurant and order a takeaway.
