The cook was not competent and ruined our experience. The service was ridiculous as we said twice that the we didn’t like what the cook served us and they didn’t even reply to us, like it was not their job to confront guests who pay €51,50 each to taste the menu with a beer. I found it scandalous. The food was the following: vegetables as a starter, tasteless and too hot soup with one shrimp only, fried salmon with cabbage and seaweed salad and one single slice of eggplant and the last dish was fried chicken with curry sauce and (overcooked) rice. A super salty miso soup was served after the third course, never seen something like this, it’s always a starter. So salty that we couldn’t eat it. Maybe a Belgian chef is not the best choice for a Japanese restaurant.
